Division III

EASTWOOD 56, ROSSFORD 51

Jamie Schmeltz scored 24 points, Hannah Limes added 13, and Eastwood advanced in a Division III sectional semifinal Wednesday night at Start High.

The score was tied at 47 midway through the fourth quarter before the Eagles (18-5) took control late before advancing to the sectional final against Northern Buckeye Conference rival Elmwood at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Haleigh Peters led Rossford (9-14) with 21 points. Sam Mikonowicz added 14.

ELMWOOD 47, WOODMORE 45

Mattison Hillard scored 13 points and Zoe Shank added 12 as the Royals (16-7) advanced to the sectional final at Start High.

Nora LaMunyon led Woodmore (10-13) with 13 points. Brooke Allen added 11 points and Hayley Freund 10.

LIBERTY CENTER 36, MONTPELIER 24

BLUFFTON — Meghan Skeens scored 14 points, Sydni Altman added 10, and the Tigers (14-9) advanced to the sectional final against Spencerville at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Kimme Engels led the Locomotives (9-14) with nine points.

Division I

WHITMER 58, ST. URSULA 25

GENOA — Jenna Thomas and Abby Hickey each scored 13 points as the Panthers (16-7) captured a sectional semifinal victory.

Shelby Ellett finished with eight points for the Arrows (1-22).

Whitmer plays Findlay at 3 p.m. Saturday for the sectional title.

Division II

BRYAN 42, CELINA 15

LEIPSIC — Bryan earned the victory and will play Napoleon at 6 p.m. Saturday for sectional title.

Division IV

LAKOTA 35, OTTAWA HILLS 22

OAK HARBOR — Lakota led from the start and then cruised to victory. The Raiders will play Toledo Christian at 8 p.m. Saturday for the sectional title.

EDGERTON 37, EDON 22

BRYAN — Edgerton got the win and will play Holgate at 8 p.m. Saturday for the sectional title.

Boys

ANTHONY WAYNE 65, MAUMEE 58

Max Denman and Josh Boyer each scored 15 points as the visiting Generals (14-7, 9-4) took the Northern Lakes League victory.

Andrew Murphy had 11 points, and Max Bradfield added 10.

Anthony Wayne overcame the hot shooting of Maumee’s Ben Pacer, who drained eight 3-pointers and finished with 30 points.

Jacob Richardson had 11 points for the Panthers (5-16, 2-11).

WHITEFORD 59, SUMMERFIELD 43

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Cameron Iott scored 14 points, Hunter Lake 13, Matt Taylor 12, and Jarred Fink 11 as the Bobcats (15-2) won at home.

Joel Breeding led Summerfield (11-6) with 16 points. Brendon Dafoe added 15 in the loss.
