Kyle Lightner poured in 29 points as Scott downed Cleveland Rhodes 73-64 last night in boys basketball.

Stephen Woodley added 13 points for the Bulldogs (5-1), who outscored the visitors 23-13 in the fourth quarter after being outscored by 10 themselves in the third.

Ali Khalid (17), Robert Wilson (14), Rayshawn Goins (13) and Regis Whitson (12) reached double figures for Rhodes (5-3).

ST. JOHN S 77, WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS 58

NORTH CANTON, Ohio Jon Dunn scored 19 points to lead three Titans in double figures in a tournament at Hoover High.

Deandre Ware added 13 points and Joe Jakubowski 11 for St. John s Jesuit (8-1), which pulled away with a 24-6 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter.

Carlon Brown and Joe Davis tallied 21 apiece for Warrensville Heights (1-9).

WHITMER 65, BEDFORD 60

TEMPERANCE Antoine Willis tossed in 21 points to lead the visiting Panthers.

Dave Sweeney added 16 and Kevin Koger had 11 for Whitmer (2-6), which held an 18-9 advantage at the free throw line.

Jordan Bollin tallied 16 and Josh Winter 10 for Bedford (3-6).

Lamonte Dawson scored 37 points to lead visiting Maumee to a Northern Lakes League victory. He had 11 field goals and 15 free throws.

Kipp Dawson added 14 points for the Panthers, who jumped out to a 24-6 lead after the first quarter.

Ryan Pontsler had 19 points and Brent Papenfuss 12 for Anthony Wayne.

Ryan Hoehner scored three points before being hurt with five minutes left in the second quarter. He scored 16 in the third when the visiting Bobcats outscored the Bulldogs 23-12.
