Wyse’s 3 TD passes help Streaks edge Panthers

DELTA — Evan Wyse passed for three touchdowns and rushed for two more as Archbold held on to win Friday night in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League game.

Wyse was 14-of-17 passing for 231 yards and churned out 146 yards on the ground. He connected with Lincoln Parsley, Jase Grosjean, and Brandon Goering on scoring passes.

Levi Wyse added a 16-yard TD run for Archbold (6-1, 4-1 NWOAL).

Delta (3-4, 1-4) rushed for 405 yards as a team, with Bailey Storeholder gaining 184 yards and Ryan Patchin running for 122 yards. Storeholder and Patchin each scored two TDs, and Dylan Nostrant added a 44-yard score.

Liberty Center 28,Arlington 23

LIBERTY CENTER — Anthony Righi ran for 183 yards and three touchdowns as the Tigers (5-2) held off a late Arlington rally.

Righi, who finished with 35 carries, also had two receptions for 56 yards. Quarterback Kaleb Pohlman scored the other TD for LC, which ran for 303 yards and forced five turnovers.

Austin Rettig led Arlington with 27 carries for 181 yards and three touchdowns. Andrew Hunter completed 12 of 29 passes for 204 yards.

Wauseon 62,Montpelier 0

WAUSEON — Quarterback Ty Suntken completed 10 of 16 passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns for the Indians, while running six times for 83 yards and three more scores.

Wauseon sprinted to a 42-0 halftime advantage.

Noah Castle caught two touchdowns and Kris Boysel one, while Axel Beuter ran for a TD and paced the Indians (6-1, 4-1) with 103 rushing yards.

Zac Robinson also ran for a Wauseon score, and Mason Creager caught a TD pass from Joshua Kauffman.

Montpelier fell to 1-6, 0-6.
