Boys Basketball: Whitmer, Northview, Titans prevail

WHITMER 65, FINDLAY 42

Eddie Colbert scored 20 points and propelled the Panthers to a Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball victory Tuesday night.

Trey Syroka scored 12 points, and Riley Keller had 11 points for Whitmer (11-3, 7-1 TRAC).

Ryan Nunn led the Trojans (7-6, 2-4) with 10 points.

ST. JOHN’S 62, CENTRAL CATHOLIC 43

Vincent Williams, Jr., finished with 20 points and Houston King 17 for the host Titans (11-2, 7-0 TRAC).

Michael Griffin scored nine for the balanced Irish.

NORTHVIEW 70, EVERGREEN 50

Alek West and Colton Snow both scored 19 points, and Luke Pawlak added 15 as the host Wildcats (12-1) won.

Josh Dowling led Evergreen (6-8) with 15 points. Nate Brighton added 12.

EASTWOOD 53, OTSEGO 47

PEMBERVILLE — Cade Boos scored all but two of his points in the second and fourth quarters to lead the host Eagles (8-3, 5-2 NBC).

Will Varner led Otsego (9-4, 5-3) with 20 points.

WOODMORE 69, LAKOTA 33

KANSAS — Drew Burner scored 20 points and Mitchell Miller added 19 points to give the Wildcats (10-2) a convincing nonconference win.

Hayden Heidebrink chipped in 10 points for Woodmore.

The Raiders (2-12) got eight points each from Josh Kagy and Tyler Wehrle.

Joey Holifield finished with 25 points and Jordan Burton added 17 for the visiting Cardinals (15-1, 9-0 TAAC).

James Silk led the Green Bears (7-6, 4-4) with 14 points. Tysen Chappell and Eliot Cummings both scored 12 points, and John Kight had 10.

MAUMEE VALLEY 82, EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 52

Zeb Jackson guided the Hawks (10-3, 6-2 TAAC) to victory with 20 points. Steve Coleman added 13 points and Jaden Woodley had 12 points.

Gunnar Parmelee had 14 points for the visiting Warriors (5-6, 2-5). Jailon Walker scored 12 points and Caden Williams had 10.

DANBURY 69, NORTHWOOD 35

Ian Kuzma scored 20 points and Brad Pruitt added 11 for the visiting Lakers (4-7, 2-5 TAAC). Demond Marks led the Rangers (1-14, 1-8) with 14 points.

FAYETTE 45, SWANTON 40

FAYETTE — Trey Keefer scored 14 points for the hosts, who improved to 9-6. Swanton (5-9) was led by Zach Bloom’s 10-point effort.

WHITEFORD 56, SUMMERFIELD 41

PETERSBURG, Mich. — Hunter Lake scored 17 points and Antonio Diterlizzi 10 as the Bobcats (8-2) won on the road, giving head coach John Rice his 500th victory in his career.

Summerfield (7-2) was outscored 19-2 in the second quarter.
