ANN ARBOR — Another Toledo-born Patterson will be joining the Michigan football program.

Nick Patterson, the younger brother of UM quarterback Shea Patterson, committed to the Wolverines on Sunday night. The three-star tight end is a member of the class of 2020.

Nick Patterson, who attends San Antonio Christian High School in Texas, took an official visit during the weekend, attending Michigan’s game against Western Michigan. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Patterson is ranked among the nation’s top 20 tight end prospects.

He holds offers from Michigan, Central Florida, Memphis, Nevada, Tulane, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, and Dartmouth. Michigan extended an offer to Patterson in July.

Michigan’s 2020 recruiting class has four commits and ranks 14th nationally.
