Slain toddler Kendra Hooks memorialized

A mural dedicated to a slain toddler was unveiled at the Moody Manor apartment complex Tuesday afternoon. The 32-foot by 8-foot installation, by local artists Warren and Yolanda Woodberry, depicts farm scenes and, on the last of eight panels, Keondra Hooks resting on a cloud. Keondra, 1, died of a single gunshot wound to the head after being shot at the apartment complex on Aug. 9, 2012.
