Waterville art studio puts out call for best yule ornament

Clayful Art Paint Your Own Pottery Studio, 26 N. 3rd St., is sponsoring an ornament contest for children ages 5 to 13. The deadline for entering an ornament is Dec. 3.

All of the entries will be placed on display during Waterville’s annual Downtown Christmas Open House on Dec. 7. Winning entrants will receive a prize basket containing gift certificates from downtown Waterville businesses. The entry fee is $12, with submissions limited to one per person.

Open studio time to work on ornaments is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, but groups of three or more can make reservations to work later in the evening. For information, call 419-260-6579.
