Collingwood Arts Center hires coordinator
3/10/2014Lexi Staples, owner of the bar Outskirts and executive director of Toledo Pride, has been named the office manager/​special events coordinator of the Collingwood Arts Center.
Ms. Staples has organized Toledo Pride events that have attracted thousands and has put together fund-raisers citywide. “Her energy and enthusiasm are exactly what the CAC needs,” said Sarah Kurfis, the art center’s executive director.
Ms. Staples, a painter and sculptor, is the associate curator for Sculpture in the Village in Gibsonburg, Ohio. It is described as northwest Ohio’s largest outdoor sculpture show.
