    Senior Geoff Beans of Ottawa Hills has been named to the Associated Press All-Ohio boys basketball first team in Division IV.

    Beans, a 6-foot-7 wing who will play at Furman University, averaged 17.6 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Toledo Area Athletic Conference champion Green Bears.

    Ottawa Hills ended the regular season at 19-1 and was ranked at No. 5 in the final state poll.

    The Bears reached the regionals for the second straight season but lost to top-ranked Convoy Crestview in the semifinals to finish the year at 22-2.

    In Division III, the only area player selected All-Ohio was Archbold’s 6-8 junior forward Luke Fisher, who was picked to the third team.

    Fisher averaged 15.9 points and 5.2 rebounds for the Blue Streaks, who shared the Northwest Ohio Athletic League title with Bryan.

    The Blue Streaks finished the regular season at 16-4 overall.
