For the second time in four days the Mid-American Conference announced a partnership with a newly formed football bowl game.

Today's announcement featured an unveiling of the Bahamas Bowl, which will be played in Thomas A. Robinson Stadium in Nassau, the Bahamas, starting in 2014.

The MAC will play an American Athletic Conference opponent in the Bahamas Bowl in 2014 and a member of Conference USA in 2015. The date of the inaugural contest and television details have not been finalized.

On Friday the MAC announced its involvement with the Boca Raton Bowl in Boca Raton, Fla., starting in 2014.

MAC Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher said the league will make two more announcements regarding bowls in the next two weeks, meaning the MAC will have relationships with at least seven, and possibly more, bowls in 2014.

Besides the Bahamas Bowl and Boca Raton Bowl, bowl-eligible MAC teams in 2014 will play in the newly formed Camellia Bowl (Montgomery, Ala.) as well as the GoDaddy.com Bowl and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
