BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University football team has lost junior rover Gabe Martin for the season because of a right ACL tear.

Martin, a first-team All-Mid-American Conference player last season, suffered the injury in Saturday's loss to Toledo. Martin had 36 tackles in seven games this season.

The Falcons also will be without wide receiver Jared Cohen for the next month after Cohen suffered a high ankle sprain in the loss to the Rockets. In eight games Cohen caught 10 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.

Bowling Green returns to action against Miami on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. in a game that will be televised by ESPNU.
