BGSU's Rogers named MAC East Division player of the week

BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University's Alexis Rogers has been named Mid-American Conference East Division women's basketball player of the week.

The senior forward averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in a pair of games last week.

The native of West Chester, Ohio, had 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds in a home win over UMass Thursday, then added 16 points and five boards in a loss to No. 18 Purdue.
