BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University's Alexis Rogers has been named Mid-American Conference East Division women's basketball player of the week, the league announced today.

The senior posted a double-double to lead the Falcons to a 62-50 win over Buffalo

in the team's MAC opener Saturday.

Rogers finished with a season-high 22 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in just 29 minutes. Rogers had 10 offensive rebounds on the way to her 17 boards, the most by a BG player since 1996.
