Falcons win at Stroh Center to stay undefeated in MAC

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated Akron 81-65 at the Stroh Center this afternoon.

Jillian Halfhill finished with 18 points to lead five players in double figures for the Falcons (13-2, 3-0 Mid-American Conference). Alexis Rogers had 14 points while three others -- Jill Stein, Erica Donovan and Jasmine Matthews -- each had 12.

Rachel Tecca scored 22 points to lead Akron (7-7, 1-2 MAC), while Hanna Luburgh had 14 and Kacie Cassell 11 for the Zips.

 

FIRST HALF

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team leads Akron 39-29 at halftime at the Stroh Center today.

Jillian Halfhill and Jill Stein each scored nine points to lead the Falcons in the first half.

Rachel Tecca scored 11 points to lead the Zips.
