BGSU women top W. Michigan, 72-50

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated Western Michigan 72-50 at the Stroh Center tonight.

Jillian Halfhill scored a season-high 22 points to lead the Falcons (19-3, 9-1 Mid-American Conference), who also got 16 points from Alexis Rogers and 12 from Erica Donovan.

Miracle Woods scored 14 points for Western Michigan (9-12, 5-5), while Northview High School grad Jessica Jessing had 11 and A.J. Johnson 10 for the Broncos.
