BGSU women defeat High Point 72-62 to advance in WNIT

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated High Point 72-62 in a Women's NIT first-round game tonight at the Stroh Center.

Miriam Justinger scored 22 points to lead the Falcons (28-4), who also got 14 points from Alexis Rogers, 11 from Erica Donovan and 10 from Jasmine Matthews.

Stacie Robertson scored 15 points to lead High Point (22-11), while Latrice Phelps and Kaylah Keys each added 13.

The Falcons advance to the second round of the WNIT against the winner of tomorrow's game between St. Bonaventure and Charlotte. The site, date and time of that contest has yet to be determined.
