Blade columnist Hussain slated to speak at library series

Dr. S. Amjad Hussain will be the featured speaker for the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Open Book series at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the McMaster Center at the Main Library, 325 N. Michigan St.
Dr. Hussain, a retired Toledo surgeon, Blade columnist, and author, will talk about his book With Whom Shall I Talk in the Dead of Night, a book of letters he wrote to Dottie, his wife of 38 years, who died of cancer.
The free public talk is to include a book signing.
