BOWLING GREEN — A Toledo woman who stole nearly $100,000 from Snook’s Dream Cars where she was employed was sentenced Wednesday to 60 days in jail.

Amanda Ter Doest, 32, also was placed on probation for five years and ordered to pay $99,395 in restitution by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex. Ter Doest, who was told she could apply for work release at the jail, was ordered to maintain employment and have no contact with her former employer.

She pleaded guilty in September to two counts of grand theft and one count of theft stemming from the disappearance of funds at Snook's, a classic car museum and repair shop on County Home Road, between Jan. 1, 2007, and April 6, 2009.
