A Toledo man accused of shooting a gang member for allegedly being in the wrong territory appeared in court Tuesday.

Christopher Graves, 20, of 619 Ashwood Ave. is charged with aggravated robbery; he remained in the Lucas County jail late Tuesday in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Mr. Graves is accused of shooting Keshawn Groom, 19, on Sept. 14, at 15 W. Bancroft St.

Mr. Groom, according to a witness, as reported in a court affidavit, is a Folk and was hanging out in Manor Boyz territory. The Manor Boyz are Bloods.

Mr. Groom was sitting in a vehicle outside of a liquor store when he was shot in his abdomen. A witness told police that a man went up to the driver’s side window, put a gun to Mr. Groom’s head, and told the victim to give him anything he wanted, and shot the victim once.
