Woman arraigned on contraband charge

An Oak Harbor woman accused of taking drugs into the Toledo Correctional Institution was arraigned Thursday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Ann Goode, 42, of 2722 S. Muddy Creek North Rd. is charged with illegal conveyance into a detention facility. Bond was set at $5,000; she remained in the county jail Thursday night.

Troopers said Ms. Goode was visiting a male inmate Wednesday and was reportedly seen passing off contraband to him. The inmate was not identified.

Troopers said the suspect had 26 grams of marijuana and 2 grams of crushed Percocet pills. She is also accused of having 2½ Alprazolam pills. If convicted, she could face up to three years in prison and up to a $7,500 fine.
