A Toledo man has been charged with felonious assault after authorities said he slugged and stomped another inmate at the Lucas County Corrections Center.

A $200,000 bond for Archie Fobbs, 24, of 30 W. Weber St. was set today in Toledo Municipal Court, stemming from a charge he struck Austin T. Johnson, 21, of Maumee with a closed fist to the face Saturday. Mr. Johnson fell to the ground unconscious, hitting his head on a concrete floor. Fobbs stomped him in the face and head until another inmate intervened, according to court records.
