A Toledo man accused of killing his girlfriend remained in the Lucas County jail Monday night after being arraigned earlier in the day in Toledo Municipal Court.

Bond for Dimitrias Graves, 27, of 159 Everett St. was set at $1.375 million for one count of murder and three counts of felonious assault.

He is accused of shooting and killing Mariah Wells, 22, of Newark, Ohio, on Wednesday. Another woman was shot in an eye and two more were shot at, police said.

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Monday.

Police have said that Ms. Wells, whose lungs were pierced by a single bullet, did not appear to be the intended target.

She was shot in front of Mr. Graves’ mother’s home at 658 Spring St.
