A Toledo teen accused in a robbery and shooting was indicted Monday by a Lucas County grand jury on two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felonious assault, each of which carries a firearms specification.

Jaquan Faulkner, 17, had been certified to stand trial as an adult after a Juvenile Court hearing.

According to court records, on Nov. 1 he allegedly gave a couple $5 to give him a ride from East Toledo to the 1100 block of Waverly Avenue in central Toledo. When they arrived, the teen allegedly put a gun to the victims’ heads to rob them. The driver fled, and at least one shot was fired, striking the man’s left shoulder.
