Man charged with rape, abduction in E. Toledo

A woman was walking in East Toledo late Thursday when she said she was grabbed, dragged into an abandoned house, and raped, according to court documents.

Raymond Green, Jr., 18, of 1073 Sisson Dr. was charged with abduction with a sexual motivation and rape. He was arraigned Friday in Toledo Municipal Court and ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $200,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 2.

According to affidavits, the woman was walking when a man grabbed her, put a knife to her throat, and dragged her into an abandoned house at 504 E. Broadway. Police said the incident was reported at 11:24 p.m. Thursday.

Inside the house, the man held the knife to the woman's throat and demanded she perform oral sex on him, according to court records.

The Blade does not identify victims of sex crimes.
