DETROIT — Prosecutors have charged two Michigan men with robbing, torturing and killing two suburban Detroit teens in 2012.

Twenty-five-year-old Fredrick Young of Detroit and 23-year-old Ferlando Hunter of Jackson were charged today with the slayings of Westland residents Jacob Kudla and Jourdan Bobbish.

The bodies of the 17-year-old Bobbish and the 18-year-old Kudla were found in a field on Detroit east side on July 27, 2012, five days after they went missing July 22.

Young is scheduled to be arraigned today afternoon and Hunter on Thursday. They’ve been charged with first-degree murder, torture, armed robbery, unlawful imprisonment and having a firearm during a felony.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the men have attorneys.
