A Toledo man accused of going on a shooting rampage Sunday that left one dead and three wounded is to be arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court.
Tyler Jones, 19, of 2719 Brentwood Ave., is charged with one count of murder and three counts of felonious assault.
Police said they believe Mr. Jones killed Sheymarr Noble, 22, and wounded Davon Ballard, 26; Emerson Ware, Jr., 27, and Terrelle Russell, 27, all of Toledo, in the 2100 block of Joffre Avenue in the central city.
Police initially believed the shooting to be gang-related. But as the investigation progressed, authorities determined that it appeared to be about a woman.
Also appearing in court today is Areanna Coley, 18, of the Brentwood address, who is charged with obstructing justice. Authorities claim she lied to police about Mr. Jones’ whereabouts.
