A South Toledo man entered an Alford plea Monday to robbery for holding up Vito’s Pizza, 4317 Heatherdowns Blvd., on March 19.

Blake Long, 22, of 5360 Florita Dr. was then found guilty by Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings. As part of a plea agreement, charges of aggravated robbery and intimidation of a victim or witness are to be dismissed at his Sept. 3 sentencing.

Last month, Long was sentenced to three years in prison by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex after pleading guilty to abduction for an Aug. 18, 2013 incident in which a University of Toledo student was kidnapped and taken to Bowling Green where Blake and others attempted to extort money from the victim’s family in China.
