Toledo man pleads not guilty in stabbing death

A Toledo man charged in the stabbing death of Aaron Hummer entered not guilty pleas at his arraignment Tuesday before Lucas County Common Pleas Judge James Bates.

Tyler Garn, 20, of 1019 Hawk St. is charged with alternate counts of murder and one count of tampering with evidence in the Aug. 3 death of Mr. Hummer, 21, at 3633 Almeda Drive.

Judge Bates reduced the $1 million bond set in Toledo Municipal Court to $100,000 and set a trial for Sept. 30.
