Grand jury indicts 2 men on murder charges

Two men charged in separate homicides were indicted Tuesday on murder charges by a Lucas County grand jury.

Michael Gaston, 19, of 1760 Macomber St. was indicted for murder and three counts of felonious assault, each with firearm specifications, for the May 25 shooting death of Sheymarr Noble, 22, of Toledo in the 2100 block of Joffre Avenue. Wounded in the midday shooting were Emerson Ware, Jr., 26, Terrelle Russell, 27, and Davon Ballard, 27.

Also indicted was Keevon Johnson, 34, of Erie, Pa., who is charged with murder, felonious assault, and discharge of a firearm upon or over a public road or highway, each with firearm specifications. Mr. Johnson is charged with fatally shooting Marcus Osley, 28, of Toledo outside Chez Joey, 715 Monroe St., on Aug. 21.
