Woman gets 3 years for threatening people with gun

A Toledo woman accused of threatening three people with a gun was placed on community control Wednesday for three years.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings also ordered that Cherice Peacock, 39, of the 3800 block of Leybourn Avenue, undergo an anger management course.

Peacock pleaded no contest Dec. 12 and was found guilty of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle for the April 17 incident. The court dismissed a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
