SANDUSKY — Will LeBron James really get a roller coaster named for him now that he’s coming back to Cleveland? Ohio’s Cedar Point amusement park says to stay tuned.

Earlier this week, the park promised to rename one of its 17 roller coasters “King James” if the four-time NBA MVP returned home to play for the Cavaliers. Cedar Point says the decision is coming on which coaster it will rename.

James announced Friday that he is leaving Miami and returning to Cleveland, where he played his first seven seasons.

A Cedar Point spokesman says the idea for the roller coaster renaming began with the CEO.

The Sandusky amusement park says James was a frequent visitor during his time growing up in Akron and while he was playing in Cleveland.
