For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

 

Dogs killed Feb. 18 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

Rough collie mix, orange and white female, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, Broadway, Toledo, running at large.

Rottweiler, black and tan male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Thomas Miller, Oak Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” orange and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, South Erie Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” brindle and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, Manchester Boulevard, Toledo, stray.

“Pit bull,” brown and white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (dog had severe seizures), surrendered by Yolanda Smith, Buckingham Street, Toledo.

Beagle, black and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dog was hit by a car, had multiple jaw fractures, upper palate detached from skull, labored breathing, severe pain, and extremely poor prognosis), Crissey Road, Monclova Township.
