Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed Sept. 12 and 13 by the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

“Pit bull,” orange and white male, unlicensed, bit a person while running at large, Laskey Road, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

German shepherd, black and tan male, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, surrendered by David Rayford, Prospect Avenue, Toledo.

Labrador retriever, black female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (bite history), surrendered by Elaina Waldmannstetter, Leonard Street, Toledo.

Dogs adopted

Dog adopted out June 25 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:
