Larger dogs get special chance at adoption
7/9/2014The Toledo Area Humane Society is hosting a special adoption event for large dogs beginning today.
The More to Love adoption event will reduce adoption fees for dogs weighing 50 pounds or more to $50. The promotion runs through Sunday.
All animals adopted from the Toledo Area Humane Society are spayed or neutered and have received their age-appropriate vaccines.
The humane society at 1920 Indian Wood Circle in Maumee is open from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from noon to 5 p.m. on weekends. Adoptable dogs can be viewed on the rescue’s Web site at toledohumane.org.
