East side man convicted in Nov. 6 shooting

A Toledo man charged with shooting another man in the abdomen entered an Alford plea Monday to a reduced charge of attempted felonious assault.

Maurice Clark, 20, of 403 Paine Ave. was found guilty by Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Ruth Ann Franks.

Lindsay Navarre, an assistant Lucas County prosecutor, told the court Clark had shot Logan Lecomte, 19, Nov. 6 after Lecomte came to an East Toledo home to see the mother of his child. He faces up to three years in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 30.
