Fifth Third offering free financial counseling

Fifth Third Bank will hit the road to offer free financial counseling and health screenings over the next week and a half at eight locations across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

The bank's eBus will stop in Toledo, Findlay, and Monroe. Scheduled locations and times are: 2 to 6 p.m. today at Arthur Lesow Community Center, 120 Eastchester St., Monroe; 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Frederick Douglass Community Association, 1001 Indiana Ave., Toledo; 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Friendly Center, 1324 N. Superior St., Toledo; noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Park Community Center, 2930 131st St., Toledo; 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chester Zablocki Senior Center, 3015 Lagrange St., Toledo; 1 to 5 p.m. July 24, at Family House, 669 Indiana Ave., Toledo; 1 to 6 p.m. July 25, at Adelante, 520 Broadway St., Toledo; and noon to 4 p.m. July 26, at HHWP Community Action Commission, 440 Scott Ave., Findlay.

Staffers will offer help with avoiding foreclosure, tax preparation, financial counselling, and free copies of credit reports. There will be opportunities to apply for jobs with Fifth Third.
