■ George Chapman has joined the board of directors for the Trust Company of Toledo. He is the retired chairman, chief executive officer, and president of Health Care REIT. He remains a senior adviser and board member of Health Care REIT.

■ Renee Smith has been chosen as president of the Fostoria Economic Development Corp., effective Aug. 1. She is the Fostoria Community Grants writer, a post supported by the FEDC and the city of Fostoria.
