Teacher of the month: Nicole Holoka

Nicole Holoka is in her 10th year of teaching at Perrysburg High School. She has been a volleyball coach, cheerleading coach, and class adviser. Nicole has served on several district-wide committees and completed an administrative internship with the high school principal developing the building's master schedule for the ensuing year.

Along with another colleague, Nicole has developed curriculum structures and resources that will be featured in an upcoming educational textbook on rigorous curriculum design.

"Nicole has embraced cutting-edge curriculum and instructional ideas while still maintaining traditional educational ideals," said Dr. Michael Short, Principal. "She has worked collaboratively with colleagues from across disciplines to ensure all students achieve their greatest potential."

Nicole has Bachelor in Science Education and Master's in Administration and Supervision from Bowling Green State University.
