BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University repaired a pipe and cleaned up water damage after a weather-related pipe break on the south side of West Hall.

The pipe broke around 4 p.m. Tuesday and caused water damage to areas on the second floor of the hall, the first floor where the university’s student-run television studio is located, and the basement.

Spokesman Dave Kielmeyer said a cost estimate of damage was not immediately available.

He said work is underway to assess what if any damage was done to equipment in the control room of the TV studio.

The pipe problem has been repaired and water cleaned up from work that began Tuesday shortly after the incident.

BGSU students are on break until Jan. 13.
