BOWLING GREEN — A Cygnet, Ohio, man admitted in court Tuesday that he sent a letter to North Baltimore Schools threatening to blow up a school.

Dwight Bower, 58, pleaded guilty to inducing panic, a second-degree felony, for the incident last October. Gwen Howe-Gebers, chief assistant Wood County prosecutor, said the school was evacuated and searched, prompting some parents to keep their children home from school.

Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex accepted Bower’s guilty plea and scheduled sentencing for June 24.
