Rossford to talk school reassignments
5/12/2014The Rossford School District has scheduled three open houses for parents and children in preparation for students’ building reassignments that take effect next school year.
The open house at Eagle Point Elementary School will be today from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Glenwood Elementary School open house will be today from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. respectively.
Eagle Point will house grades three through five under the reconfiguration plan, and Glenwood will house prekindergarten through second-grade students.
The reconfiguration is in conjunction with the closing of Indian Hills Elementary at the current school year’s end to cut costs and includes transferring all sixth graders to the junior high, where open houses will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. for sixth graders and 7 p.m. for seventh graders.
