Getting a charge out of parking downtown

Toledo Mayor Mike Bell, right and city officials, show off the three electric vehicle chargers that the city has installed on North Superior Street in downtown Toledo, Thursday.

As a pilot program, motorists will pay for metered parking and can plug to the charger in at no additional cost. Mathews Ford in Oregon provided a couple of cars to plug into the chargers.
