The Andersons to hold recycling event April 12

The Andersons will hold an electronics and document recycling event April 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot at its Maumee store located at 530 Illinois Ave.

Participants can drop off computers and computer parts, office equipment, toner and ink, video-cassette recorders, DVD players, electronic games, phones and cell phones, radios, cameras and projectors, and documents and papers to be recycled.

A $5 donation is being suggested to help The Andersons defray expenses.

No televisions, air conditioners, appliances, paint, fluorescent bulbs, or alkaline batteries will be accepted.

The Lucas County Solid Waste Management District is cooperating with The Andersons in the recycling event.
