Description: The Andrew Gulch Memorial Golf Outing is in memory of my son who passed away from Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy (MD). I am now working to find a cure for my older son and wife that have both been diagnosed with MD. All funds raised at the golf outing will benefit the dozens of families in NW Ohio & SE Michigan that are affected by one of the 43 muscle diseases (including ALS) that are supported by the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
MDA uses the funding to provide a clinic to families in Toledo, provide a Summer Camp for kids diagnosed with a muscle disease, and for research to find a cure.
This is a hockey themed golf outing that will include former professional hockey players from Toledo a current Toledo Walleye hockey players. The outing includes an 18-hole tournament, a Family Mini-Golf Event (sponsored by the Toledo Fire Charities and hosted by the Whitmer DECA), dinner and silent auction.
Hole Sponsors, teams and individuals welcome. Many raffle prizes, typical golf contest holes and Hockey Themed golf challenge holes. Silent Auction items include tickets to various professional hockey and baseball teams and autographed sports memorabilia.
