Owens club plant sale to support contest entry

Landscape Turfgrass Crew Club ready for annual event

Owens Community College’s Landscape Turfgrass Crew Club is holding its annual Spring Plant Sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday next to the greenhouse near the entrance to Owens' Math and Science Center.

The sale will include shrubs and rare trees as well as annuals.

Proceeds will help support the organization’s participation in the annual Professional Landcare Network Student Career Days, which is a national horticultural and landscape competition involving more than 65 colleges and universities from across the country.
