Rossford Beautification Committee to take stroll
8/18/2014The Rossford Beautification Committee will hold Strolling Downtown from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday as a precursor to the 2014 Rossford Riverfest that day.
Registration will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the recreation center, where participants will receive a map of the business district. The donation is $2.
The stroll includes a visit to downtown businesses and ends at Edward Ford Memorial Park, where participants will be entered in a raffle. The first 100 people to register will receive a bottle of water and a ticket for a free hot dog at the Rossford United Methodist Church ice cream social, to be held during the walk. The Rossford fire station will be open during the day.
The third annual Rossford Riverfest will be held from 4 to 11 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, with live music from 7 to 11.
