Rogers’ Williams chooses Lamar

Rogers senior Marquelle Williams, who helped the Rams to a second straight City League title and a trip to the Division II regional final last season, has verbally committed to Lamar University in Houston.

Her former Rogers teammate, Kabria Walker, has made the Eastern Michigan women’s basketball team as a sophomore walk-on.
