Top-ranked St. Ursula won the first game of today's Division I state volleyball championship match, but third-ranked Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame rallied to take a 25-27, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24 victory over the Arrows at Wright State University's Nutter Center.

It was the only loss of the season for the Arrows (29-1), who were playing in their sixth state final since 2000. St. Ursula won D-I state titles in 2004 and 2010, and were previously runners-up in 2000, 2005 and 2011.

Mount Notre Dame's Cougars (26-3) won their seventh state championship and second in three years. The Cougars trailed 11-3 in Game 4, and were down 23-21 before a 5-2 closing run clinched the championship.

The Arrows have posted a 111-5 record since 2010, and were playing in their 10th state final four in the last 14 seasons.
