Whitmer 38, Evergreen 36

METAMORA — Whitmer hit eight free throws in the fourth quarter to seal a nonconference win Tuesday night in girls basketball.

Sam Meinen led the Panthers (9-3) with 10 points.

Haili Mossing paced Evergreen (9-3) with 13 points. Kendalyn Noe added 11.

Springfield 53, Wauseon 33

Natalie Yoder scored 16 points and Jewel Rollins added 15 as Springfield (8-8) won at home.

Natalie Koenig netted 10 points for Wauseon (7-6).

Fremont Ross 57, Maumee 37

Val Samson scored 16 and Abbi Hasselbach 13 to lead the Little Giants.

Kalena Harris had 16 for the Panthers.

Fostoria St. Wendelin 43, Northwood 21

Kamryn Troike tallied 16 points to lead Fostoria St. Wendelin to a road win.

Allison Roach scored six points to pace Northwood.

Bedford 44, Ypsilanti 27

YPSILANTI, Mich. — The Mules (6-2, 4-1) prevailed behind Nicole Rightnowar’s 20 points.

For the Phoenix (6-2, 3-2), Julana Dukes had eight.

Oak Harbor 65, Fremont St. Joseph 29

FREMONT — Andrea Cecil scored 27 points for the Rockets (11-2), and Emma Barney added 11.

Ava Stepanic scored eight for Fremont St. Joseph.

Hopewell-Loudon 63, Gibsonburg 45

GIBSONBURG — Hope Brickner netted 17 points to lead Hopewell-Loudon.

Courtney Burns added 15 and Aleta Daniel 14.

Brittney Holcomb paced Gibsonburg with 14 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf 75, Liberty Center 39

LIBERTY CENTER — The Titans won easily as Elissa Ellerbrock scored 19 and Dani Ellerbrock added 12.

Niki Meyer had 16 and Andrea Weirauch 11 for the Tigers.

Elmwood 51, Old Fort 43

Kristen Curtis and Samantha Ervin scored 17 each to lead Elmwood (8-4) to a road win. Old Fort is 10-3.
