Chris Adams, Richie Lynn, and Mike Mitchell each had 14 points Friday night to lead the host Spartans to their first City League win of the season.

Start (2-12, 1-4) led 26-19 at halftime and increased its edge to 43-33 after three quarters.

Kelvin Downer paced Waite (5-11, 1-4) with a 19 points, while Taywyn Mason added 15.

Rogers 79, Woodward 53

Brandon Austin scored 21 points to lead the host Rams (7-3, 4-1).

Fadil Robinson tallied 13, Cameron Copeland 12 and Alejandro Williams 10.

Craig Kirkwood had 16 to pace the Polar Bearfs (8-7, 1-4). Tahron Watson added 13, while Daijour Whittington and Anthony Bell each had 10.
